Here's a non-grisly scene of a Mute Swan (I think) sleeping away on ice. Would have thought it would be resting on the ground if its warmer. Anyways, taken on one of my field trips with the camera club. Liked the curl of its neck and of course how the head is snuggled slightly under the wing.
